Cooking Kids with Jamey Kupsc. (Boys & Girls ages 8-12)

Tuesdays 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the SSCC Kitchen 

$175M/$180NM    Session I begins 9/17 and ends on 10/29

Children will learn how to follow & complete recipes, handle cooking equipment such as peelers, graters & knives.  Basic Etiquette and how to correctly set a table.  Children will learn measuring, math, mixing and basic food science in a safe, supervised kitchen.  Kitchen cleanliness is a must and children will be taught how to keep work areas clean and sanitary.  Recipes will be chose based upon student interest & upcoming holidays.  We will also explore different cultures through some of their traditional dishes.  On the last day of class, parents/caregivers are invited to attend & be served by their Junior Chefs!
